75th Annual Golden Globes – Time’s Up | #MeToo

The 75th Annual Golden Globes Award Ceremony was held in Beverly Hills, CA on Sunday, January 7th, hosted by Late Night talk show host Seth Meyers.

Standout moments from the night include…well, the Power of Women! The powerful women (and some men) of Hollywood stood together in unity , supporting the Time’s Up and #MeToo movements which speak out against sexual assault. The Time’s Up initiative encouraged the award attendees to wear all black as a symbol of solidarity.

Purchase the pins and show your support here, with all proceeds going directly to the Time’s Up Legal Defense Fund.

Practically every star was wearing all black as their silent statement, with many of them wearing the Time’s Up pins.

It was a night of unity and empowerment, but aside from Oprah Winfrey’s fantastic speech after being the first Black woman to receive the Cecil B. DeMille Award, we are wondering where the men’s voices were!

Do you think men wearing their Time’s Up pins was enough of an activist move, or would you have liked to hear more men use their platforms to speak up against sexual harassment?
